The 2012 Sts. Peter & Paul Development Dinner

We are preparing for our 10th annual Development Dinner and Auction, which will be held on Saturday, February
25, 2011.

This event has become a new Parish tradition and it is the ‘place’ to be to enjoy a relaxing evening with Family and Friends. This year, our event will once again be held at the historic Livestock Exchange Building.

The Development Dinner is an annual fundraiser for Sts. Peter and Paul School, which is designated as a CORE “inner city” school. We rely on help from our community to keep the school running, which includes classroom supplies, building improvements and tuition assistance for students in need.

For our part, we give back to the community by giving our children an invaluable education. The 8th Grade Class of 2006 graduated from High School Spring of 2010. Of the 16 members, they earned a total of 65 scholarship offers! Also, OUR School was the Nebraska State Champions for the ‘Fuel-up to Play 60’ Competition for the 2009-2010 school year. This is a National Program created in partnership by National Dairy Council (NDC) and the National Football League (NFL), the Program empowers youth to take action to improve nutrition and physical activity at their school and for their own health. This is just a few examples of our graduates' accomplishments; we offer the best and hold each student accountable to their highest capabilities.

Our teachers have been with us an average of 20 years.

There are several ways that you can help us this year by not only attending the event but also by making a donation in one of our giving levels, donating an item for the silent auction or by purchasing ad space in the auction program.
